Can a Lesser Mortal cut the mustard in a bikini this summer?

Once Lesser Mortals get to a certain age, and particularly after having kids, I hear the words…..I will NEVER wear a bikini again. I would like to say, let’s not be too hasty, as recent vintage fashions and the awareness that some women have large/small breasts, have meant bikini designs are much more flattering than were previously available. Many retailers sell individually rather than in sets, giving greater flexibility. And they have even invented strapless bras in a K cup, so scaffolding IS available for larger assets. I have concentrated on bikinis, as most women feel comfortable hiding their tummies in a support swimsuit, but maybe haven’t dared to bare in a bikini yet. A bit of me thinks “who’s going to see me anyway?” providing holiday snaps are restricted to panoramas and evening wear. And whilst I am promoting bikinis, I don’t suggest you need to let it all hang out when you wander round the pool, or enter the dining area. There are plenty of sarongs and cover ups available. Here are some ideas to tickle your fancy.
